Clinicians on assignment may explore distillery tours, community festivals such as the Twin Lakes National Fiddler Championship, and other leisure activities during their time in the state.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThe radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based outpatient oncology services on a day shift schedule with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include overseeing radiation treatments, conducting new patient consults, managing follow-up visits, performing treatment planning, completing status checks, and participating in tumor conferences. The clinician will work collaboratively with a support team consisting of 1 RN, 4 Radiation Therapists, 2 Medical Physicists, and 3 Dosimetrists. Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required for this assignment.
