Regional Sales Manager – East Coast | EV Charging

BTC POWER is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to grow new business across the East Coast. This role is designed for a strong sales hunter who is energized by building pipeline, opening new accounts, developing long-term customer relationships, and driving revenue within a technical sales environment.

The ideal candidate brings approximately 10–15 years of progressive B2B sales and business development experience, preferably within EV charging, energy, electrical infrastructure, industrial technology, manufacturing, or another highly engineered industry.

Candidates should be based in a major metropolitan area on the East Coast and comfortable traveling approximately 40–50% throughout the territory.

This position reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development across the East Coast territory with a strong focus on prospecting, account acquisition, and revenue growth.
\n
• Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities with commercial customers, fleet operators, distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, channel partners, and strategic accounts.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and targeted account development.
\n
• Own the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and discovery through proposal development, negotiation, and close.
\n
• Develop and grow key accounts while identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
\n
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, integrators, and other channel partners.
\n
• Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting, and opportunity management using Salesforce or a similar CRM.
\n
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual regional sales goals.
\n
• Develop territory plans focused on market penetration, new customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
\n
• Work closely with engineering, product, operations, and other internal teams to develop customer-specific solutions and proposals.
\n
• Lead customer presentations, product discussions, negotiations, and executive-level meetings.
\n
• Represent BTC POWER at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
\n
• Monitor competitive activity, customer trends, and market opportunities throughout the territory.
\n
• Maintain strong customer relationships while continuing to identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
\n
• Travel approximately 40–50% to support customers, prospects, partners, and industry events.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

\n
• Approximately 10–15 years of progressive B2B sales, business development, territory management, or commercial experience preferred.
\n
• Proven track record of generating new business, opening new accounts, and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals.
\n
• Strong preference for experience within EV charging, EV infrastructure, energy, electrical equipment, industrial technology, manufacturing, power systems, or other highly engineered products.
\n
• Demonstrated success in a hunter-oriented sales role with responsibility for building business from the ground up.
\n
• Experience selling complex technical products or solutions with longer and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
\n
• Experience working with distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, integrators, channel partners, or strategic partners strongly preferred.
\n
• Strong understanding of pipeline development, forecasting, territory planning, and full-cycle sales.
\n
• Proven ability to build relationships with executive-level decision-makers as well as technical and operational stakeholders.
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, identify opportunities, and create new business without relying primarily on inbound leads.
\n
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
\n
• High level of drive, accountability, urgency, and follow-through.
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
\n
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
\n
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
\n
• Must be based in a major East Coast metropolitan market and comfortable traveling approximately 40–50%.

Work Environment

This is a remote, field-based sales role supporting the East Coast territory. The Regional Sales Manager will regularly travel to customer sites, partner meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events throughout the region.

Physical Demands

This is primarily a sedentary role; however, some lifting and movement of materials may be required during customer visits, conferences, and trade shows.
